This week we are learning about coding in the Neoplasm table. Using your ‘Neoplasm Notes’ resource from this week, what do each of the following mean?:

Secondary neoplasm
Carcinoma in situ
Benign
Neoplasm of uncertain behavior
Neoplasm of unspecified behavior
Give an example of coding for a neoplasm from the neoplasm table, giving the codes for that neoplasm as malignant primary, malignant secondary, ca in situ, benign, uncertain, or unspecified behavior. If there is no code for that specific type of neoplasm, just say ‘N/A’.
