you are new to the office. As part of your orientation you are observing the office scheduling assistant. Today you notice she appears to be telling patients that she can't book them for today but can book them for tomorrow or later in the week. When you look at the schedule there appear to be several openings at the end of the day. When you ask the scheduler why she is not using these appointments she explains that she has plans for the evening and she does not want to be working late.
