This is for my ASL Class (American Sign Language) I feel like I understand it but need some help please?

Access to different types of news and announcements is important. If a hearing person does not hear a news story or public announcement, they have a greater chance to hear it in a passive way (i.e., without actively trying to learn about it). However, Deaf people can only access the news if they are actively watching, reading, or if having a conversation in ASL. Consider and discuss how this could impact the everyday life of a Deaf person and what could be done to make various types of news more accessible to Deaf people.

It could make Deaf people feel like they have to be alert of current new 24/7 which can get extremely tiring. The person may be actively multitasking as well if they need to get caught up with new and it could harm them from doing other important things and instead looking at social media or reading articles.
