Add [tex]8[/tex] to both sides of the equation:
[tex]5t=3t+20[/tex]
Subtract [tex]3t[/tex] from both sides of the equation:
[tex]2t=20[/tex]
Divide both sides by [tex]2[/tex]:
[tex]t=10[/tex]
