discount where each batch of 10 cupcakes are only $1. He buys
34 cupcakes. How much did Mr. Hanson pay for all 34 cupcakes?
He can buy 30 cupcakes with $3. Including the discount given, he needs to pay for the remainder of 4 since he can’t do the discount again. To figure this out do 4 times 1.25=$5. So he paid $35 for the 34 cupcakes he bought.
