economic stability farming practices an a  need for leadership ...

In the early days of humanity, it had not been instituted, so there were no rules, anything was possible, and the law of the fittest was imposed. This moment was called the state of nature, in which men behaved like wild animals.

This state caused constant instability and tension in people, which could be attacked at any time by other humans, since there were no rules. It is from this state of nature that politics arises as a result of the need for organization and social cohesion through the creation of rules of coexistence. Thus, citizens would relinquish their freedom relatively, by instituting the state that would be responsible for maintaining social cohesion through laws and force if necessary.
