The Law of Syllogism states that if A equals B, and B equals C, then A must equal C. In this example, if the sun is shining (A) then it is a beautiful day (B). If it is a beautiful day (B) then we will go for a bike ride (C). Thus, if the sun is shining (A) then we will go for a bike ride (C).
