After the Boston Massacre, Paul Revere’s historic engraving was probably the most effective piece of war propaganda in American History. Paul Revere’s historic engraving is the Bloody Massacre in King Street. For this reason, Paul Revere use in his engraving to shape public opinion that the British arte lined uo and an officer is giving an order to fire, implying that the British soldiers are the aggressors, the colinist are shown reacting to the British when in fact they had attacked the soldiers and British faces are sharp and angular in contrast to the Americans’ softer that more innocent features that makes the British look more menacing, British soldiers look like they are enjoying the violence, particulary the soldier at the far end, colonists who aere mostly laborers are dressed as genetlemen, there appears to be a snipper in the window beath the “Butcher’s Hall” sign and lastly the soldiers’ stance indicates and aggressive military posture.
