I hope this helps. (^_^)
Hey there :)

We do this the same way like the previous question

The large cylinder's volume

V = [tex] \pi [/tex]r²h
40,635 = [tex] \pi [/tex]r²(18)
[tex] \frac{40635}{18} = \pi r^2[/tex]
2257.5 = [tex] \pi [/tex]r²
[tex] \frac{2257.5}{ \pi } [/tex] = r²
r = [tex] \sqrt{ \frac{2257.5}{ \pi } } [/tex]
r = 26.8 cm

The ratio from big cylinder to the small one is:
18 : 6
This means the big cylinder is 3 times bigger than the small cylinder.

[tex] \frac{26.8}{3} [/tex] = r
r = 8.9 cm (radius of small cylinder)

V (small cylinder) = [tex] \pi [/tex](8.9)²(6)
                             = 1505 cm³

Your answer will be B) 1505 cm³
